Trust Automation is looking to add a MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN to its growing team. This is a full time position with benefits, located in San Luis Obispo, CA. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform assembly and basic testing of motor and motion control products, with the emphasis on meeting on-time deliveries and established quality standards.
  • Assemble products in accordance to documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, work orders, product travelers, etc.)
  • Test products for functionality or quality
  • Verify accuracy of finished assemblies to provide quality output
  • Investigate repetitive assembly problems and propose solutions to resolve them
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other departments: Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, etc.
  • Document all work performed on product within the ERP system

REQUIREMENTS

  • HS diploma/GED required
  • 2-5 years' experience as an Assembler/Technician i
  • Soldering experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and complex drawings/diagrams
  • Able to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers and other measuring and test tools
  • Proficient with electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, various meters, function generator, power supply)highly desired
  • Experience working for a government contractor (military/defense) or medical device (FDA) manufacturer subject to ISO 9000/9001 standards and practices is an asset

  • This position requires successfully passing a background check, prior to the first day of employment
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder')
